과학과 건강에 관심이 있는 학생이라면 누구나 약대로의 진학을 고려해 볼만 합니다. 약대는 환자들의 건강을 위해 고안된 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다. 약학의 전문가로서 약사들은 사회와 병원체계에서 아주 중요한 위치에 있습니다. 공인 약사는 또한 제약분야에서도 중추적인 역할 을 하고 있으며 인간과 동물을 위한 안전한 약물을 위해서 공공분야의 활약도 필요합니다.

약대 재학 중 워크익스피리언스
- UCC 코크대학교의 약대에 재학 중인 5년 동안 매년 적정한 수준의 현장학습이 있으며 커뮤니티, 병원 또는 산업분야 그리고 공공분야에서 활동하게 됩니다. 특히 5학년(석사과정)에서 8개월간의 현장배정은 환자와 직접만나는 과정으로 전문가로서 거듭나는 기회가 됩니다.
