RCSI Physiotherapy는 움직임과 신체 기능을 평가하고 회복시키는 물리치료 전문직을 준비하는 과정입니다. 학교 졸업자 경로는 Foundation Year를 포함한 4년 과정이며, 해부학과 생리학의 기초부터 근골격계·신경계·심폐계·노인·여성·남성·아동 건강, 임상 추론과 연구 근거 활용까지 단계적으로 학습합니다.

RCSI Physiotherapy의 특징

임상 배치

임상 교육은 학업 블록과 번갈아 진행되며 전체 과정에서 1,000시간 이상을 이수합니다. 첫 배치 전에는 RCSI 시뮬레이션 시설에서 의사소통, 평가와 치료 계획을 연습하고, 이후 병원·재활·지역사회 등 다양한 임상 환경에서 Clinical Placement 1–4를 수행합니다. 마지막 단계에서는 advanced respiratory paediatrics, advanced musculoskeletal, advanced neurology를 포함한 복합 환자군을 경험할 수 있습니다.

학습과 평가

필기 및 실기시험, 구두 발표, 교과 과제 등 다양한 방식으로 평가합니다. 임상 배치는 clinical tutor와 clinical educator가 현장 수행을 평가하며, 성찰 포트폴리오도 평가에 포함됩니다.
