UCC Pharmacy MPharm 학사

UCC Pharmacy는 BPharm 4년과 MPharm 1년을 연결한 5년제 통합 약학과정입니다. 의약화학, 제제 설계, 약물이 인체에서 작용하는 원리, 약학 실무를 함께 배우며 과학 지식을 환자 치료와 의약품의 안전한 사용에 연결합니다.

첫 4년을 성공적으로 이수하면 BPharm을 거쳐 5학년 MPharm 단계로 진학합니다. 최종 MPharm은 아일랜드에서 약사 등록을 준비하는 데 필요한 전문 학위이며, 교육과정 전반에 실험·임상적 판단·환자 소통·연구 역량이 단계적으로 배치되어 있습니다.

현장실습은 5년 전체에 걸쳐 확장됩니다.

실습지는 지역약국, 병원약국, 제약산업, 규제기관 등이 될 수 있습니다. 5학년의 마지막 장기 실습은 환자를 직접 만나는 환경에서 진행되며, 해당 실습은 유급 또는 무급일 수 있습니다.

강의와 튜토리얼, 실험실 수업, 모의약국 기반 학습을 함께 진행합니다. 평가는 필기시험뿐 아니라 실습보고서, 에세이, 연구보고서, 컴퓨터 기반 평가와 OSCE를 포함하며, 처방 해석·환자 상담·의약품의 안전한 공급에 필요한 실무 역량을 확인합니다.

졸업 후에는 지역약국 약사, 병원약사, 산업약사, 규제 업무, 의약품 도매, 약학 연구와 교육 분야로 진출할 수 있습니다. 약사로 활동하려면 MPharm 이수와 함께 Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland의 등록 요건을 충족해야 합니다.
